FAMILY SUPPORT

When communication stops, families need somewhere to turn.

When a volunteer serving in Ukraine goes out of contact, their family can be left worried, confused and unsure where to seek reliable information. Finding the right organisation, understanding official procedures and knowing what steps to take can be difficult, especially during an already frightening time. Ukraine Volunteer Family Support is a proposed portal designed to make that journey easier. Our vision is to bring together reliable guidance, relevant official contacts and practical support pathways in one accessible place, with the long-term aim of helping families navigate enquiries and access appropriate assistance for their loved ones.

WHO WE ARE

Independent. Human. Supportive.

When someone volunteers far from home, the uncertainty can affect the whole family. Loved ones may have questions, struggle to find reliable information, or simply need to know where to turn. Ukraine Volunteer Family Support helps families of volunteers serving in Ukraine find practical information, understand available support options, and locate appropriate sources of assistance. Behind every volunteer is a family, partner, child or friend who cares about their wellbeing. Distance and uncertainty can be difficult; clear information and compassionate guidance can help families feel less alone and better prepared. We want families of volunteers to feel recognised, informed and supported, wherever they live — making useful guidance easier to find, without promising outcomes we cannot guarantee.
